This is January's My Pink Stamper Design post! The challenge is Pink & Love and the designers are using sentiments from 1 of 2 My Pink Stamper stampsets...Which I just have to say again I really do LOVE...
I personally have lots of different peel and stick stamps and there is just the easiest get-my-stamped-image thing with MPS Stamps that is super fabulous! Do you like my technical stamp talk? LOL!
The stamps I am working with is the Happiest Moments set, great for celebrations, And because we are so close to Valentines I decided to use the Happy Valentine's Day along with some FUN elements! Who doesn't LOVE a PINK feather boa??? I hope you like it!

Hi fellow card crafty lovers! My name is Raechel, you didn’t guess that from my blog name did you? LOL! I am a 36 year old wife and mother to 1 BEAUTIFUL teenage girl! My hubby and daughter are the loves of my life! I also have a furbaby Chloe an 8 year old Shih-Tzu. I work full time and have been in LOVE with scrapbooking since my little missy was 2!
I discovered the Cricut and subsequently Card Crafting last year and started my blog March 6, 2010! My second post was a submission to the FIRST MPS Design team and I made it into her gallery but not the design team :( I was sad but felt like I had room to grow and thought I will definitely try again! Guess what trying again worked!
I found out live on Robyn’s USTREAM that I made the team YAY! I am still pinching myself! But it is official I am a My Pink Stamper Designer! {totally squealing with delight} What an honor! I am annoy your teenager with hearing about my “official MPS designer status”, hug your hubby yelling “I am a My Pink Stamper Designer”, dance with your dog happy!!

On to the crafty-goodness!
I used 2 brand new to me cartridges for this cutie! AND I was totally inspired by my dancer {daughter} and by My Pink Stamper and my Pink Flamingo Dancer was born. LOL I think she’s just darling! I used a “trim-stlye” ribbon from Joann’s for her cute tu tu…I am so pleased with her I hope you all like her too! Thank you for stopping by enjoy the HOP!

Mirror, Mirror

I bought this reflective scrap paper YEARS ago for a science project for my daughter...Don't you just LOVE when something old is totally COOL! I also used my Christmas present a Papertrey Ink Border die {LOVE} for the ruffle felt along the side. This is the cheap felt from walmart or Michaels...I just run it through my cuttlebug a couple of times for a complete cut! Then for the very frilly look I cut in between each scallop...if you look back at my "make a wish" card I used the PTI Border for that too but it is just flat..what a difference right? Hope you like.

{FOLLOW UP QUESTION} For the Felt I ran a strip of ATG tape (any STRONG tape will do) down the length of the card then I gathered and pressed, the felt from one top to bottom. Thank you so much for commenting I LOVE questions and I LOVE COMMENTS!

I MADE IT!!!!!!!

My Pink Stamper announced her NEW Design Team tonight....and YAY! I was one of the SURPRISED ones who found out live!!! It was a total nail biter and talk about butterflies...I seriously thought I did not make it...I was already pep talking myself into a "well I'll try again and again and one of these times it will be me!" speach, but WOW was I surprised!
I am sooo excited about making the DT!! I have no idea what exactly that entails because I found out live and I have never been on a design team before???

Now that it is later and I have had food (I opted to watch the Ustream over dinner) the excitement is starting to turn to nervousness...I hope I do ok? I really want to be "Pink Stamper" good! I am super excited about learning from all the WAAAY talented ladies I heard Robyn announce as her DT...and (holding breath) Robyn herself! YAY! I am so grateful to Robyn for even visiting my blog and choosing me as one of her DT talk about humbled...Thank You Robyn I am looking forward to EVERYTHING! Still nervous too.

Congrats to all those who made the Team and the Honorable Mention! YAY!!!

AND finally CONGRATS to EVERYONE who entered! It is hard to submit your creativity to be judged and I am happy to have been one of the 372 who tried! You are all so very talented! This is my second time trying out for the DT and I know how it feels to not make the team...But be encouraged because you tried! And of course you'll try again because NEXT time it could be you!

Make A Wish!

Happy 2011! My Pink Stamper is kicking off the New Year with a NEW Design Team and she has asked those interested to submit their auditions!

I am so far beyond interested I actually dreamed about it last night...I must have really low self esteem because EVEN in my DREAMS I did not make the Team
LOL How sad am I? :(
I woke up pep talking myself into the fact that it is an honor to be taken into consideration with all the other talented entries! Which is TOTALLY TRUE I do not envy MPS having to narrow her choice to 2 it must be a hard decision with soooo much talent! Good luck to everyone entering including me!
